GM Says It's Ditching Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for Your Safety
- amacalac 3y agoMore the safety of their bottom line I'd guess
- polski-g 3y ago> According to Babbitt, CarPlay and Android Auto aren't perfect programs. They have stability issues that manifest themselves as bad connections, poor rendering, slow responses, and dropped connections. I can guarantee you that whatever GM comes up with to replace Android/Apple, it will have these problems and worse. My slightly older car's "push to dial someone on your contact list" functionality is laughably bad.
