I had no notion that this sort of behavior had been so normalized that it had an audience worth advertising to. I didn't even know that people did this sort of mad nonsense. This is so incredibly unethical as a business model, even if you don't care about the adults in the situation, think of how this might impact a child conceived through deception.
Truly vile.
- hutzlibu 3y agoI did not thought this was a thing, either, until I learned, that in some circles apparently it seems pretty normal to get a child by any means, whether the father wants or not. And quoting the article, apparently it is legal! "it’s not illegal to use someone’s sperm non-consensually to get yourself pregnant, and in past cases of secretive sperm use, courts have ruled that a left-behind load could be considered a “gift.” " https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/sperm-gift-keeps-giving-flna1c9440096 https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/sperm-gift-keeps-...
- tristor 3y ago> “There’s a 5-year-old child here,” Mirabelli said. “Imagine how a child feels when your father says he feels emotionally damaged by your birth.” Classic. Blame the father, even though his sperm was used non-consensually and the mother filed a lawsuit for child support after doing what is tantamount to rape. It's legally rape in most Western jurisdictions to remove a condom without your partner's consent, but somehow it's okay to blame the father and demand he cover the expenses of such an outrageous and blatantly immoral act.
