so, if you want to join two things, a parent and children, you get duplication of parent details eg, select P.name, C.* from Parent P inner join Child C on C

so, if you want to join two things, a parent and children, you get duplication of parent details eg, select P.name, C.* from Parent P inner join Child C on C.Parent_id = P.Id where P.Id = 1234 so from what I can tell is this idea would have a result set of a Parent table and child tables based on the join and projection with no duplication? At least that's what I understand it to be. That seems useful.
