I messed up in the OP. I think $0.005-$0.01 per minute of video is about right for cleaning up the transcripts. Summaries are actually a bit cheaper. (Output tokens cost more than input, and summaries save a lot on output tokens.) Should be the right order of magnitude though. If you open the devtools and look at the console, it actually prints the cost haha. I've noticed the cost per minute varies a lot depending on the video. I'd guess those free online services don't use GPT-4-turbo. I've tried using GPT-3 instead, which is quite a bit cheaper, but the quality is a lot worse. Otherwise I don't see how they'd get around the cost.
