Im totally making me a sonic screwdriver.
- readthenotes1 3y agoIt's got me thinking of sonic blood clots in the pulmonary arteries but you do you and I'll worry about our ever increasing abilities to kill ourselves!
- omeid2 3y agoYou're being down-voted but both KGB and CIA have used similar tools already. Essentially, "remote poisoning guns". See page 6. https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP78T03194A000400010014-6.pdf https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP78T03194A0004000...
- fbdab103 3y agoGiven the relative infrequency with which high level leaders die in office, it does feel like these assassination tools are more James Bond than real world. Seems more straight-forward to arrange a car accident.
- BobaFloutist 3y agoSeems more straight-forward to arrange a car accident. Or just shoot someone.

- imchillyb 3y agoThe Mossad used small -targeted- explosives and motorcycles. They rode by a vehicle, attached the explosive, rode off and detonated. They’ve targeted and dispatched several nuclear scientists from Iran with this trick. Still a bit like a Bond plot.
- fbdab103 3y agoNow that seems needlessly elaborate. I am willing to imagine some amount of implausible hi-jinks occur when you are trying to make a death look like an accident. A car chase plus explosion does nothing to conceal the plot. Why not gun them down when they entered the car?
- jxramos 3y agovery interesting; I'm a bit stymied by this statement: "The effect of the poisonous vapors is such that the arteries which feed blood to the brain become paralyzed almost immediately." What in the world does it mean to have arteries become paralyzed? I thought paralysis was a skeletal muscle phenomenon. Arteries have a bit of smooth muscle for vasodilation and vasoconstriction. But what does paralysis mean here? I would think dilation, which would be the inactive state since constriction would require active energy exertion to effect.
- Jeff_Brown 3y agoIf we can build stuff with sound, it seems like taking blood clots apart with sound should be even easier. I wonder how long before people who take warfarin can stop taking it and instead subject themselves to a continuous scan that triggers clot destroying targeted sounds whenever it finds a clot. I suppose the continuous scan would be bad for you.
