Perhaps the author sets it to false later symbolizing some sort of transformation you went through or at least a change in his perception of you.
Perhaps it was in a "bipolar" loop:
while (true):
sleep(1000 * 60 * 24)
alanIsABastard = !alanIsABastard
- arethuza 15y agoI must admit that I never considered this point in any great depth. Perhaps it should have been a constant (and it was Java): public static final boolean ALAN_IS_A_BASTARD = true;
