Halo: A non-invasive neural device to stabilize and induce lucid dreaming
- gryfft 3y agoLooks like vaporware AFAICT but it's fun to imagine. I do wonder if we're in for a breakthrough like this soon-- if deep learning models will precipitate an improved understanding of the physical mechanisms of consciousness (and unconsciousness.) Nothing in a few minutes of searching indicates any academic support for the notion that ultrasound can induce lucid dreams, so I'll stay skeptical until there's demos and reviewers get a hold of actual devices.
