I have a fairly complex Pandoc pipeline so that I can send my supervisor Microsoft Word documents and create LaTeX documents all at the same time. Which is to say that I am swimming upstream to get a PhD in the modern era using LaTeX. It would be far easier if I just used M$ Word.
