Wow, I read this whole article and it’s amazing how similar of an experience I had. I ordered a fairly fancy mechanical keyboard and instead got a used motorcycle cover. I did a proper return through Amazon, they even said via live chat that they were processing the refund. But the refund never came. After two months of back and forth with I filed the dispute with AMEX. Amazon disputed the charge back. I had to dispute the Amazon dispute. finally, Amex did end up refunding the money even though Amazon did not.
