- dvngnt_ 3y agoyou're disappointed that an article about yeast infection has comments related to about sex, but a risk factor is intercourse?
- vertis 3y agoIt's not relevant in this context and both of the comments were throw away lines. The study abstract suggests the use of a zinc gel. It would be interesting to know if zinc supplements have any impact or whether on topical application has any impact.

- vertis 3y agoSure absolutely, and if the comment about condoms was put with a little more context it could be read that way. The other comment though, not so much. In any case, If you go to pharmacy and browse that aisle the products are targeted at women because it's primarily women that experience symptoms. You can certainly take those medications, and you probably should if a partner needs to.
- atlas_hugged 3y agoYeah, I’m with you. Then of course there’s always some disingenuous replies that defend it, any way they can, while simultaneously trying to sound academic to deflect potential responses.
