Graph of the Rural Population of US States
- p_j_w 3y agoI'm not a fan of this graph. It's not immediately obvious what things like the size of the colored state represents. It's certainly not the percentage of rural people. What is it?
- 082349872349872 3y agoA normal cartogram (eg https://worldmapper.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/USA_Politics_Election_2020.png https://worldmapper.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/USA_Polit... ) also shows rural population, and arguably much more clearly, due to the great discrepancy in population density between urban and rural.
