Under your plan, how many instances of oct 7 do you think Israel should tolerate before they rethink things?

  Under my plan, reconciliation and shared prosperity makes more instances of oct 7 terminally unworkable for any who would attempt them. There haven't been too many Pearl Harbor reduxes, if I'm not mistaken.

    Is it your understanding that America turned the other cheek after Pearl Harbor?

      We (despite our best efforts) did not create a situation where Japan felt it necessary to enter into a multi-generational blood feud. Something about ending the occupation and providing economic support. Admittedly, some of this could credibly be attributed to some aspect of Japanese culture and its approach to defeat. On the other hand, we made a point not to bomb Kyoto because of its status as an important historical and cultural treasure.
