You need to understand the domain, you have to design something that solves an actual problem or delivers tangible value to someone, you need a holistic approach to user experience.
- withinboredom 3y agoEven if you understand the domain, you can build the wrong thing, or just simply not know something you don't know; thus you can't even learn it. I've seen this too many times to count.
