- lmm 3y agoThe faster javascript runtime was what made it a success IMO.
- acheron 3y agoThe leveraging their search monopoly to push it and paying other software to sneak it into installs is what made it a success.
- lmm 3y agoNah. Safari did plenty of monopoly abuse and sneaking into installs, but still never got big on Windows. At some point the user experience does matter.
