- turtleyacht 3y agoThere's also mention of a web browser: http://puckoweb.com/ http://puckoweb.com/
- 8organicbits 3y agoThe repo has some screen shots https://github.com/arthurchoung/PUCKO https://github.com/arthurchoung/PUCKO
- turtleyacht 3y agoThank-you. The screenshots make me wonder if the author uses nvi. It looks like that in XQuartz xterm too¹. Plus the "(END)" at the bottom. ¹ Using `xterm -rv -maximized -w 0`
- vanous 3y ago> Unicode is not supported. Což znamená, že je to nepoužitelné pro značnou část světa.
- extraduder_ire 3y agoI wonder why. I assume because they heavily use objective-c. I have to hope it's at least 8-bit safe.
- gafage 3y agoSpanish is one of the most widely spoken languages and accents can be removed and the result is perfectly understandable.

- minroot 3y agoLet Plan9 take over
- euroderf 3y agoIs there some fun way to take Plan 9 out for a spin on a macos system ? Or its designated successor, Inferno ?
- lproven 3y ago9Front runs fine under VirtualBox -- just be sure to pre-allocate the whole virtual hard disk. (You only need a tiny one.) If you use sparse allocation, formatting fails.
- cylinder714 3y agoYes—go to https://copy.sh/v86/ https://copy.sh/v86/ and click on the 9front link. A session will open in your browser. You'll notice that window management is quite different from what you're accustomed to, here's a brief guide: https://pspodcasting.net/dan/blog/2019/plan9_desktop.html#rio https://pspodcasting.net/dan/blog/2019/plan9_desktop.html#ri...
