- lxgr 3y agoChatGPT (free and paid) are available in the EU, so I don't think there is a blanket ban. Different companies might have very different interpretations of the legality of what they're doing, of course. I don't think there's any precedent, and no explicit regulations – there's an "AI act" being currently discussed in parliament, though.
