Anyone know of an ETF that buys stocks excluded by activist funds?
- tlb 3y agoYou're almost always better off buying individual stocks yourself. You can optimize your return in various ways, like tax loss harvesting to offset capital gains from other sources like stock options. There are cheap robo-advisors that can do this even with small amounts. Also, you might agree with some activist fund exclusions, like tobacco or gambling.
- lawn 3y agoYou're not better of buying individual stocks compared to global index funds, that almost always ends up with you underperforming while taking more risk.
- itishappy 3y agoMost of them? Agendas are diverse, any company that grows enough is likely to have pissed of at least one group somewhere.
- wyager 3y agoI mean only "excluded" stocks. I specifically want to make money off slippage losses etc. from activist funds selling stocks for activism reasons.
- klyrs 3y agoIf you wanna buy Budweiser stock, just buy it.
- danans 3y agoHey, stop picking on Bud, they're going climate woke too: https://www.anheuser-busch.com/newsroom/bud-light-next-celebrates-climate-neutral-certification-ahead-of-earth-day-2022 https://www.anheuser-busch.com/newsroom/bud-light-next-celeb...
