I watched a recent 3C presentation, which was about gender selection in UIs, presenting different websites with dropdowns allowing for male/female, male/female/other and some dating app that had 72 options, then arguing that "that's not enough and it should instead be free text because "new genders are discovered all the time". Presenter was absolutely insufferable as well, especially during the Q&A, misinterpreting questions and attacking people who asked completely innocent questions. Yeah, I'd rather watch some videos selectively afterwards than go to the conference and get stuck in something like that. But who knows, maybe they have a bigger venue and more tickets available this time around. Interestingly, I can't find the video on YT anymore.
