These pixelart games are incredibly beautiful. For me, the gameplay itself suffers a lot from intentionally slow animations which showcase the pixelart. The movement does not feel tight and the game is not fun for me.
- rco8786 3y agoAgreed wholeheartedly. Makes for great demo videos, and not very fun gameplay for me. Ones that I have seen be successful are pixelart up until you need a fast animation, then some other graphics kick in (think sword slashing/bow and arrow shooting/etc)
