New leader of GM's Cruise acknowledges 'all-time low' amid safety review
- rmason 3y agoDoing things 'the Detroit way' is condemning Cruise to failure in my opinion. GM had nothing to compare to Tesla's self-driving before buying Cruise. Ford's policy after losing a billion in Argo AI is to offer a quarter of Tesla's features and charge half the price. They figure if you haven't tried Tesla's self-driving you'll think you're getting a good deal. Stellantis (Chrysler) is waiting on its European masters to come up with something and changes the subject every time its asked. Can you really blame Cruise employees for not wanting to wear their company jackets when they learn of the policy changes at their company?
