Technically speaking, algorithms would be machine guns in firearms parlance. C'mon Gore, at least read up on the regs first. This puts them in the same regulatory bucket as shoestrings, lightning links, and electronic firing systems(which are often implemented using algorithms, dear god, it's machine guns all the way down!). I'll be over here popcorning til I keel over, or until people realize I'm actually right. I suspect I know which'll happen first. It won't be people suddenly realizing our torture of language in the name of politics has to stop.
