- solardev 3y agoIt's easier for more people to afford broadband than a 4080 though. It only needs like 30 megabits or so.
- meheleventyone 3y agoMost gaming also doesn’t need a 4080 either though!
- solardev 3y agoBut most of it could benefit from one! I have a M2 Max and struggle to play most recent games. Stutters, low details, no DLSS, etc.
- fragmede 3y agoThere doesn't need to be fast and low latency on every last square inch of the Earth for it to be a successful product, it just needs to be ubiquitous enough to be worth it most of the time to enough people. The gamers I know aren't also avid travellers, so if there's gigabit at the primary and secondary and tertiary residence, that covers enough to be worth it to most.
