GenAI Against Humanity
- jruohonen 3y agoI think these are all plausible threats -- if not already realized threats. He also doesn't submit himself to the "AI generated malware" fearmongering, which was popular a few months ago, but instead discusses LLMs as intermediaries for attacks. And for once, a nice graphical abstract!
- wowaname 3y agoFearmongering? No, run. This is a warning. People (the ones who support AI) are after devs like they serve CAPTCHAs to bots now. It's psychological warfare.
- jruohonen 3y ago> Fearmongering? I mean the allegations that AIs would develop polymorphic malware on their own, or that a LLM trained on the public Internet would make people smart enough to build a nuclear bomb, and so forth along these lines.
- wowaname 3y agoLoving the downvote and the hyperbole to ignore the fact that even the current state of "artificial intelligence", as the general public understands it, is still extremely dangerous to society. This doesn't have to escalate into warfare to be a credible threat. Stop living under a rock.
