I think Nodejs gets various things right. I really like the effectiveness of the Nodejs event loop and libuv.
Async programming can create a mess with callbacks but the experience in Nodejs can sometimes be positive with promises or generators.
I just would like it to be multithreaded with low contention between threads rather than starting an entire process.
It's why I'm experimenting with ringbuffers and barriers and alternative async syntax.
