What is the "great expense"? Mobile battery life and performance is already pretty amazing. A world where we have our very smartest people putting text on a screen instead of ending world hunger or something, or where all the apps are broken constantly, or where development randomly halts as teams come and go, or where only top geniuses can be hired and the rest of us have to work service and labor with basically no career path to anything else except maybe management, doesn't sound like what I want.
