Make no mistake – AI is owned by Big Tech
- rbanffy 3y agoWhat if we could pool together individual's resources into training our own free-software (not the training algorithms but the resulting data) LLM? I assume that big tech could run with it and make improved and more functional derived tech, but, if we could license it with an AGPL-like license, that makes derived and tuned models also free, we could counter that and create a freely-available model that could be used by anyone. Any takers?
