I used to just buy a couple 5 gallon jugs and refill them at the market. Then I would keep a 2 gallon dispenser in the fridge. Now I have an RO unit and just refill at my sink. Although, one thing to keep in mind is that RO units typically waste a lot of water. For every gallon of filtrate they produce, they also dump 5 gallons down the drain.
