Your first point at least qualified itself with a “EVs aren’t all things to all people”, but beyond that, it sounds like you’ve got a very biased sample.
My EV will definitely be a net saving over a petrol car. 2.5 years in, and it’s basically a given at this point. And this is in a country without any government rebates.
- baz00 3y agoIt really depends how you choose to position yourself in the market and how you talk about it which is my point. For example I drove a second hand vehicle for 8 years until the start of this year and the whole total cost of ownership over the entire time didn't even get to half the sticker price of the cheapest EV on the market. We can all talk around a point.
