I loved the food in Sydney too. Best coffee in the world. Good mixed food too - pad thai, kebabs, burgers, yogurt, whatever. The beaches get a lot of attention, but the city and markets are beautiful too. Personally, I found the weather quite harsh. The joke was that we had two tornadoes in a day once and it didn't even make front page. The other joke is we'd always say the winter wind would rip your umbrella apart, and everyone who's never been there thinks it's an exaggeration.
