How does this compare to cut quality differences from things like shield gas selection, cutting speed, and laser source quality? I'd wager it's probably insignificant. Therefore, perhaps of higher use in miniature manufacturing applications than macro pieces.
- aidenn0 3y agoI'm not familiar with laser cutting at all; are cuts typically done with suboptimal parameters for those things?
- edrxty 3y agoYeah, most people have gone to using compressed air instead of shield gasses. But the point stands, how much does this vary with respect to other variables. If this is a 1% improvement where all other variables are yielding much larger swings, it may not be worth considering.
