Fine, then let's mandate this by law.
- Symmetry 3y agoThat's not a problem. The fraction of unoccupied units in the Boston area is tiny compared to places with more affordable housing.
- standardUser 3y agoHere in NY, where housing is more expensive than Boston, we are drowning in uninhabited "investment properties". With a proper vacancy tax we could instead be referring to them as "homes".
- creer 3y agoIsn't that certain to increase costs (i.e. prices) for everyone?
