I’m not talking about marijuana. I’m talking about opiates. Often, initial exposure comes through entirely legal means, e.g. pain prescription for wisdom teeth removal. Certain classes of drugs are highly addictive. There is a major profit incentive to hook users on such drugs. This really doesn’t apply to marijuana because it’s not that addictive.
