Don't miss in there:
"We’ve decided to end-of-life (EOL) Twilio Programmable Video as a standalone product. Given it’s such a niche area and a relatively small part of our portfolio, we believe partnering with video industry leaders is the best way to ensure long-term product innovation for our customers. Removing Programmable Video from our portfolio will also allow Communications to more effectively focus on our pillar products - Messaging, Voice, and Email."
- TheGRS 3y agoInterestingly our company was already looking at moving from Twilio to Zoom and they recommended that in their email.
- fnsuperman5 3y agoHave you done any comparisons between other competitors?
- TheGRS 3y agoNo not really, but since the news dropped we're starting to get into conversations about it, will be doing some research on other WebRTC providers soon.
- Sean-Der 3y agoHow did you end up on/hear about Zoom? I am in a bubble with Pion. Open Source devs from different companies all are chatting/contributing to projects/doing talks. Zoom isn't active so assumed all they had was a conferencing offering.
