Did you have an interest in makemake before? This github repo looks brand new.
- CoastalCoder 3y agoI'm not sure exactly how long makemake has been around, but I think it's at least 20 years.
- tovej 3y agoyou're not thinking of automake?
- sgbeal 3y agoCoastalCoder is right - the name "makemake" has been in use for 20+ years by at least one other project, and a quick google reveals that many projects have used that name.
- Ballas 3y agoThe linked repo seems to indicate the first public release was 16h ago, so perhaps you are referring to a different makemake?
- boffinAudio 3y agomakemake.c: from 1999 https://www.csh.rit.edu/~tommut/tech/makemake.html https://www.csh.rit.edu/~tommut/tech/makemake.html I seem to recall there being a similarly named program in the late 80's, early 90's, but it could just be a script some colleague wrote ..
- ReleaseCandidat 3y agoThere is also the Netlib (Fortran) MakeMake script - 1987: https://netlib.org/alliant/makemake https://netlib.org/alliant/makemake But there has been a C makemake version in 1996, I have used that IIRC.
