Show HN: A Who is Hiring app with AI filters – December update

• cssanchez 3y ago
Doesn't work on iOS, the left menu is overcome by the right div.

Oops, didn't think about mobile. I'll add some css later. Thanks for the heads up!
  • bernawil 3y ago
check it out again for the mobile theme and updates on job posts!

Nothing happens when I enter something to search on.
  • bernawil 3y ago
thanks for checking it out! The search bar only filters the tag list, not the posts.
    • jasfi 3y ago
It doesn't even do that for me.
      • bernawil 3y ago
are you sure? Expand one of the Technologies, Positions or Locations lists and then use the filter input, the lists should be filtered.
        • jasfi 3y ago
The component I'm referring to is at the top, named Filter with a magnifying glass icon. Not the components you can expand.

Neat! For some reason "UK" shows up twice in the location options. It might also be possible to normalize e.g LATIN_AMERICA v LATIN-AMERICA? And the page title could do with an update from 'React App' :) What's the relationship to the app as presented in the gh-pages branch and the code in the main branch?
  • bernawil 3y ago
ah good catch! the gh-pages has the latest, I had forgotten about it. Tags should have been coalesced/normalized by one of the steps but seems it didn't catch some. I'll run it again later and see if I can get some more consistency there. Also should add any new posts. Stay tuned for updates ;)

If you could add a negative filter, that'd be sweet - I'd screen out AI/LLM :)

        great idea
