Labor shortage is pitting parents and childfree coworkers against each other
- ianai 3y agoIt’s not a labor shortage. It’s a shortage of willingness to pay people what they’re worth. Increase wages and more labor becomes available as more people see doing the work as desirable. Econ 101. This also happened after the 1918 pandemic-and workers saw historical increases in pay following it.
- gloryjulio 3y agoYep. We have enough money to make the workers to live a bit better, if only the elites could loosen their assets coffer a bit They can't even just let the workers to enjoy wfh a bit
