Why aren't interfaces fun anymore?
- eternityforest 3y agoI'm trying to fix this for my own projects with this CSS framework: https://eternityforest.github.io/barrel.css/ https://eternityforest.github.io/barrel.css/ But I think the answer to why is... it's just part of the general ultra minimalist trend, which is related to about 50 other trends. Minimalism says "Look how much I don't need and how directly I interact with the world" and some people really hate the idea of hiding. Minimalism is also more discovered than designed and some people have a strong desire for non-arbitrariness, they want some ideal of what is perfect to approach.
