I'm currently judging applications for the next round of Start-Up Chile. It's given me a very good understanding of why it's almost impossible to give a reason for why an application is rejected, especially with the borderline ones. What we are doing is trying to give a sentence or two of feedback suggesting how an application could be made stronger and/or advice on how we think they should proceed.
