- GFKjunior 14y agoIn California it was $50,000 for the 08-09 year. But if you read the footnote it states "since 2000-01, the average annual cost has increased by about $19,500." Almost a $20 thousand increase in 8 years, I'd hate to see what it is now or worse in another 7 years.
