No, not by definition.
And yet, part of the reason unemployment is at historic lows--and more importantly the labor participation rate is so high--is because we are doing this.
- crazygringo 3y agoWrong. Again, this is just basic economic principles. And no, current unemployment rates are not due to any kind of policy like this. We are not in the middle of a massive Keynesian stimulus. To the contrary, interest rates are high to try to slow things down.
