True Story: Buy and Pay for IG Boost, 7 hours in FCBK fraud, cancel, ad down

So I pay for the Boost and the money is accepted by IG. That's how the system works. Correct? It was simply set up that way - all you talking about Dark Patterns need to chime in here. Seven hours or so into the 2 day run my card is popped for fraud and I review the transactions: FACE*K XYZ72 FACE*K ZBC22 $9 each - one passed, the next didnt. Cancel card, move on with life. I logged into IG and it informed me the Ad will not run until a new card is put on the account. Okay all you smart tech people who specialize in logic, help me out with this one please. I'm not joking. This really happened and now I have no access to funds to buy the things I need for my medical treatment using personal resources.

It took me several readings to figure out what on earth you were talking about. Maybe rewrite this as a blog post and include context for those of us who are not psychic. If your card got stopped for fraud it seems like you should be talking to your bank/card issuer, it's not clear to me why you care more about your ad campaign than your card.
