I plug an old netbook into my (also old) hi-fi system via the 3.5mm port, what would be the advantages of a USB DAC?

- justinsaccount 3y agoSome machines have really bad analog audio output.. either bad quality or noisy. Plus, for systems that have toslink/spdif you can get a USB DAC that has optical out and avoid the issue entirely.
