Travel to foreign destinations where you can’t read the street signs, and learn how to get about on your own. Try to build something entirely from what you know, without a tutorial. Do more manual labor so you can get a chance to turn off your brain.

Go meta-data[0] (or go fourth), k-package[1] things with own Brent Spiner web search snippets take/interpretation[2]. Also 'Galaxy Quest', MIB series, Starwars, Matrix, etc...
