Every year, one-third of food produced globally goes to waste. In the United States, 40 percent of food waste occurs at the retail and consumer level. Most of this waste occurs in fresh food departments at grocery stores. Afresh is working to eliminate this waste. Our machine learning team is hiring for three roles at the staff level: data scientist, applied scientist, and data engineer. We work on crunchy machine learning, operations research, and data problems that are hard to find anywhere else.
