Probably referring to pitch lengths. Climbing ropes are generally ~60 meters (200 feet), or one pitch.
- frenchy 3y agoMore accurately: probably referring to the length of their rope (and thus max pitch lengths). With alpine climbing, the actual pitch length can be all over the place due to a variety of reasons.
