The Novopen 6 is $50 in Europe BECAUSE OF GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES.
There isn't some grand free market of rationally-acting rational actors peddling cheap drugs in Europe. The governments over there subsidize things. Implement strict price controls.
When the Novopen 6 is eventually introduced in the US it will cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars because Novo Nordisk can charge what they want-- not because "duh gubmint" is interfering with them.
