At a fundamental level we are just fluctuations in a quantum field, which causes emergent conditions for the fluctuations to be able to consider how they exist in the first place. We see light but our eyes are lied to, there are far more wavelengths that we can't see. We hear sound but our ears are likewise lied to - someone could be screaming at you at 60k hertz and you'd never pick it up. If reality is merely what we can experience, we miss out on a lot of what reality truly is because we view it through the lens of what we believe it to be based on our flawed biology and pre-existing biases.
