Doesn't matter. The problem is the emotional compulsion to destroy -- anything, everything, doesn't matter what or who. The rest is the relative cost/convenience of one target versus another. There is nothing more to it than this. Raise the cost of attacking homosexuals? Some other target will instantly be attacked. All you are doing is throwing every other class of victim under the bus. This is (need it be said?) not a gain. You cannot stop a bully one victim at a time.
