I think the message is very profound. It is one of the message like "eat your veg, exercise, sleep well, love your family". On surface one would respond "yeah who doesn't get that". Who doesn't know software is as good as getting used? Oh wait, but no, what about knowledge, wealth, career, fame, status, entertainment and so many more. What about architecture, maintainability, scalability, trendiness, developer experience, team management, OKR, career prospect, and others? A punch is a punch. Software is about getting used. (I swapped user with used, IME user can mean different things to different people)
