I find it incredibly irritating that they don't let you configure your security options to remove those checks. A strong password by itself is still perfectly adequate.
- iforgotpassword 3y agoAbsolutely. Still have an inaccessible YouTube account connected to a deleted Yahoo email (for inactivity, without warning, lol). When providing the correct >10-characters-with-numbers pw, it wants to send a confirmation code to that email first. None of that rubbish was in place when that account was created.
